Kingsland Church was built in 1876 and continued to operate as a Church for over 120 years. In 2003 Alex Telfer purchased the Church and set about sensitively re-designing the building.
Following months of sensitive yet contemporary renovation, Kingsland Church Studios, in the heart of the architecturally significant Byker Wall Estate, was born.
Home to Alex Telfer’s internationally recognised Photographic and Production Company since 2003, a significant proportion of the facility was developed into smaller, affordable creative studio / office spaces. These studios were designed to enable small creative businesses and artists alike to flourish in a supportive environment of like-minded people and practitioners.
A unique opportunity to become a part of Kingsland Church Studios has arisen with a handful of perfectly presented studio spaces becoming available to rent with immediate effect.
All studios are freshly decorated and immaculately presented with tall ceilings. Communal areas include a lobby, large kitchen diner and Gallery. Each studio comes with one car parking space in the secure, walled car park. All studios have full internet and rent is inclusive of bills and business rates.
Kingsland Church Studios houses a stunning 200 meter square photographic studio which has also regularly been used for presentations, conferences and workshops. Tenants can negotiate the use of this space by arrangement.
A viewing of this unique property is strongly recommended to fully appreciate its character.
